Gothenburg Enters Happy Mode

Today the happy folk of Gothenburg got their first taste of spring.

Swedish people lose their minds when it is possible to walk down the street without a jacket.

Over the years I’ve seen people on penny-farthings, unicycles and even a guy in a red cape being carried horizontally down the street by two of his friends as he sings the Superman theme.

Today the city was full of people.

The smell of the gardens was amazing.

I come from a place where the weather is so good so often we don’t respect it nearly as much.

Now I do.
